High Tea in Honor of Amanda
On February 16, 2014 Amanda Kelsall would have turned 23 - so in honour of her a few of us decided to go out for High Tea while we were home. Amanda loved dressing up, going out, and drinking tea. In fact, she was planning a High Tea outing with her friends in Ottawa at Med school. They went out for High Tea on the same day too.
It was a blessing for me to spend the afternoon with these ladies and take photos with my film camera. I experienced some challenging moments as I processed the passing of my friend - and reuniting with these girls was comforting. I've been reminded to cherish all the small moments. To remember the little victories and hold onto the joy that I feel even when the sun is warm on a cold winter day. I'm developing a thankful heart, and thanking God for EVERYTHING. I certainly am thankful for this day.
